Why stay in Kihei

1

We think that Kihei is the best place to be on the island of Maui! Kihei is centrally located, provides easy access to the islands limitless attractions and offers an array of shops and restaurants. The white sand beaches overlook turquoise waters and are perfect for swimming, surfing, snorkeling, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, whale watching and sunbathing. There is enough to do and see to stay in Kihei for your whole vacation, but convenient enough that it’s easy to explore other areas of the island!

Kihei is on the sunniest driest end of the island and boasts over 6 miles of pristine beaches. South Kihei Road contains almost all of the shops, restaurants, and condos and it runs along the coast with easy beach access.

Our summer months are May through November and the temperature averages 88 degrees. Our winter months are December through April and are slightly cooler and average 82 degrees. Kihei only gets an average of 13 inches of rain per year so you can expect sunny skies and beach weather year round. There are clear views of Kahoolawe, Molokini, Lanai and the West Maui Mountains and the sunsets from Kihei are unforgettable. In the winter months, you will be sure to see the humpback whales breaching!

We would love to help you plan your perfect Maui vacation!
